The primary role of the Presales Senior Specialist during an active sales cycle, is to understand and tell the customer s story, from where they are now (including their pains and challenges) to the achievements we can attain together as partners.

The SAP Customer Experience team is looking for a skilled expert to join our zealous team. The candidate should ideally be based in the Northeastern USA, and be able travel regularly to prospective customer sites across the country, but mainly in the Northeast.


The Presales Senior Specialist is an expert in one or more areas of our SAP Sales Cloud offering, and participates in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team in support of the sales account strategy. The SAP Sales Cloud helps our customers improve the Sales Experience in areas such as Sales Force Automation (SFA), Sales Learning, Sales Content, Partner Relationship Management, Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Sales Performance Management (SPM), Intelligent Forecasting, Subscription Billing and Revenue Management.

A Presales Senior Specialist for the SAP Customer Experience portfolio and our C/4HANA suite of products (SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud and SAP Customer Data Cloud) interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, presentations to the C-suite, and follow-up discussions. In addition to deal support, a Presales Senior Specialist collaborates with sales and industry value engineering teams to plan and execute business development strategies through the use of Design Thinking tools and techniques.

Deal Support

  • Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations and executive presentations in support of sales cycles. Preparation includes personalization of materials to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling customer story.

  • Compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering SAP Customer Experience portfolio (specifically SAP Sales Cloud) to prospective customer audiences. The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences, which can include senior company executives.

  • In advance of a demonstration or key presentations, conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer in order to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs.

  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of one or more of the SAP Customer Experience Solutions and our C/4HANA suite of products (SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Service Cloud and SAP Customer Data Cloud) and appropriate industries in order to maintain credibility with prospective customers.

Demand Generation

  • Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely (eg. NRF and SAP-run marketing events, etc.)

  • Lead and support Design Thinking workshops to promote new and innovative solutions for customers and prospects.


  • 5+ years of presales experience is preferred, or 5+ years of deep solution knowledge from working with the applicable solution as an end user or business analyst.

  • 3 -5 years of solution specialist (or equivalent customer facing) experience in areas appropriate to the job

  • Demonstrates 5-7 successful engagements leading small teams on small-mid-sized deals

  • Expert knowledge/expertise on end to end processes/solution matching

  • Experience in Sales Force Automation (SFA), Configure Price Quote (CPQ) and/or Sales Performance Management (SPM) processes

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills English: proficient

  • Business level local language: expert

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
